New Bling at Poppyseeds!

These beautiful watches are a recent addition. They are made by a local Camano Island Artist. They are stunning at only $45. each. The beaded bands are attached with jewelry clasps and can easily be switched for many different looks.

Beautiful Black 1920's Dresser!

Since the Duncan Phyfe serving table has a new home, we have replaced it with a beautiful black 1920's vintage dresser. This piece is very 'Paris Apartment Chic'. Glass knob adorn this amazing dresser. $350.

I was so inspired by Janis' BLOG and all of her creativity that I had to try my hand a glittering! I am adding her blog 'JUNKDREAMS' to our sidebar today.

RETREAT has updated their space at Poppyseeds for the Holidays! It is stunning in Red and White. Every detail is simply charming! The chandeliers are even draped with vintage Christmas balls.

I LOVE these little vintage Santa mugs - They are displayed in a Child's Toy Buffet.

Early Christmas at Poppyseeds!

Our friend Cheri of Trumpeter Antiques, Conway - surprised us today with a new sign!. She hand painted this beautiful sign and even included a picture of Poppy the cat. (Poppy is a shy black cat that we adopted off of the streets of Stanwood.) The sign is a great addition. Thank you Cheri!

Santa and the reindeer also just arrived at Poppyseeds this week!

This beautiful black sideboard is new! It is a Duncan Phyfe serving table but would work perfectly for a desk or vanity with this vintage black mirror!! -$249. (SOLD)

Coffee Anyone?

This darling round cafe table and four chairs just arrived at Poppyseeds. The table and chairs have been restyled and are very chic with a shabby black finish. Chairs have been reupholstered using recycled coffee bean burlap sacks. You can have a seat on Cafe do Brasil, and Organic Clean Coffee! Table and Chair Set - $225. - SOLD

Out with the Orange... In with the Blue

Julie had spent the weekend pulling the orange out of the front room (except for the darling orange Poppyseeds paper banner Debi Ward Kennedy had made for us - see above :0) )and adding new pieces including this black pedestal table and the gorgeous antique blue velvet sofa seen below. Both pieces left yesterday to new homes!

This sofa was in beautiful condition and had spent time as a display piece in Marcy's Boutique.

We are busy getting more piece in the shop today to fill it up again!

Poppyseeds will be in Puyallup this weekend along with 90+ other vendors bringing you the best junk around!! The show is Friday, October 23rd from 6pm - 9pm and Saturday, the 24th from 8am-10am for Early Birds, and 10am - 6pm for the main event. The show is located at the South Hill Mall in the old Balley's building at: 3600 9th Street SW, Puyallup, WA

Fall has Arrived at Poppyseeds!

Yesterday Debi Ward Kennedy of RETREAT transformed Poppyseeds into Fall! The front room is overflowing with black, orange and cream.

A rather large new addition is the CHIC french sofa. A long story - with a very happy ending! This beautiful sofa originally appeared at Haley's Cottage French Flea Market and was sold - long story short it was put up for sale again and we were able to snag it!

Our locally made soy candles have been restocked and are ready to fill your home with wonderful
new aromas, including: Carmel Apple, Banana Nut Bread, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Cranberry Marmalade & Key Lime Pie! They smell delicious and burn so clean!

Check out the Party room filled with Cupcake linens including tablecloths, aprons and towels sets!
