Yesteday, Today & Tomorrow will be a Flea Market Vendor

We are so happy that Fay Mafnas of Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow will be a vendor at our Flea Market this Saturday, May 1st, from 10am - 4pm.

Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow is a brick and mortar shop located on 271st Street in downtown Stanwood. Owner, Fay sells eco-friendly and fair trade products. Fay loves our community and is offering products manufactured by companies that pay living wages and don't use child laborers.

Her store is filled with new, recycled, and vintage items. Fay makes it easy for us to shop and vote with our wallets while supporting our earth.

Ormolulu at Poppyseeds!
We are so excited to have Debi Burton of Ormolulu at our Outdoor Flea Market on May 1st, from 10am - 4pm.

She just updated her blog with a few photos of some of the treasures she will be bringing! A antique wire garden gate and antique swim lockers turned into planters.

Debi always has beautiful displays and everything is one of a kind!

Mary E. Trimble signing books this Saturday

May 1st, 10am-12pm

Join us this Saturday at Poppyseeds Outdoor Flea Market from 10am - 4pm. Mary E. Trimble , local author will be signing copies of her books from 10am - 12pm.

Mary writes mainstream and coming-of-age novels with contemporary western settings. Her latest book Tenderfoot - a romantic suspense won finalist in the western writers of America SPUR award. She will also have copies of McClellan's Bluff - 2004 Eppie Award Winner and Rosemount for sale. Make plans to come out, meet Mary and get your signed copies this Saturday, May 1st!

Flea Market Vendor Spotlight

We want to tell you about Ohpossums who will be a vendor at our May 1st, 2010 Outdoor Flea Market. Friends Michelle and Minda love everything vintage and will be bringing vintage paintings, linens, metal, bags, furniture and more to the market.

Many of you may know Michelle from Bungalow Bay Boutique in Stanwood. Michelle recently closed her brick and mortar to focus more on doing shows - including The Farm Chicks and Funky Junk Sister Show .

We are looking forward to seeing all of their treasures May 1st!

We have been busy restocking the shop and getting extra products ready for our first Flea Market at Poppyseeds in 2010 - on Saturday, May 1st, from 10am - 4pm.

Today we brought four of these elegant frenchy chairs into the shop. They have been recovered in an oatmeal burlap with a darling 'Bon Appetit' embellishment.



We have some exciting news to share with you. Debi and Bob of RETREAT have invited Poppyseeds to be vendors at their Petite Retreat on May 8th & 9th. Poppyseeds will be there on May 8th only. Debi and Bob have transformed one of their barns into a 'Vintage Seasonal Market' and they will be open one weekend each season. They have done an awesome job and it is a treat have an opportunity to purchase their creations. Mark your calendars now!
